Shoot way higher, this honestly isn’t amazing. Aim to play Rachmaninoff’s Second or Third. I doubt you’ll ever get there, but hey, why not aim high? I mean I’d love to play Sax like Coltrane, Parker, or Gordon, but I doubt it’ll ever happen, but it’s what I aim for.

I don’t think I’ve actually said that at all, in fact it’s a great cover.
People should aim for something high always, because if you don’t you’re selling yourself short. Music is something of growth, and if you stop growing, or stop trying to grow then you are quitting on yourself.

Furthermore, if someone aimed high, they could do a cover of Fireflies, but rather than it being basic chords, they could make it amazing.
